Any questions? Call us at 876-2554

How you can help:

Bake cookies (see recipe below) – 2 batches drop off at the Civic Center or make other arrangements.

Package cookies at the Civic Center 9:30 – noon, call for date, usually the Thursday prior to the July 4 parade.

Sell cookies 1/2 hour before Fireman’s Parade starts on Sunday.

Book-Drop Cookie Recipe

2 large eggs
1 cup sugar
1 cup lightly packed brown sugar
1 cup butter
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
2 cups flour
2 cups old-fashioned oats (NOT quick-cooking oats)
6 ounces chocolate chips
Beat eggs, sugars, and butter until fluffy. Mix in vanilla. Combine dry ingredients and add to sugar mixture. Drop by 1/4 cupfuls (about 3 inches apart) onto lightly greased baking sheet. Bake 10-15 minutes at 350 degrees or until golden brown. Cool before removing from cookie sheet

Makes about 4 1/2 inches in diameter

Please follow recipe exactly. No substitutions or additions.
