Summer Reading program, family movies, game days and author visits are just a few of our family-focused programs.

Summer Reading Programs – Get the whole family reading during the summer for fun and prizes.

Sunshine Club – Help put a little sunshine in the lives of others. Cards have been made for Project Angel Hugs and Meals on Wheels.

Movies and Game Days – Check our calendar for times.

Author visits – Our most recent author visit was Liz Garton Scanlon who came to talk to us about her latest book.

Drop in projects – We always have a project going on, coloring pages, crafting or puzzles.

Outdoor Explorer Backpack – Loads of fun activities to do in the outdoors. Includes field guides.

Coffee Hour – Every Wednesday at 10am. Coffee, tea, conversation and books.

Book Club on the Move – 2nd Friday of the month at 1pm. Check Adult tab for monthly title and location.

Movies – Usually movies based on books, check calendar for additional information.

Volunteer – Lots of opportunity for volunteering. Currently looking for volunteers to scan historical documents, assist with Story Time and Toddler Time or help with event planning.

Childrens Programs & Activities

Join us for Story Time, Toddler Time, LEGO Club, 1,000 Books before Kindergarten to name a few of our programs focusing on children.

Story Time – 1st and 3rd Thursdays at 10:30. Music, books, craft project and fun with Nano!

Toddler Time – 2nd and 4th Thursday at 10am. Free play time. We supply the blocks, puppets, books and music.

Bricks and More – 2nd Tuesday,  4-5. Free play and challenges.

1,000 Books before Kindergarten – Self-paced program to instill the enjoyment of reading in your toddler. Pamphlet available at the library.

National Library Week Coloring display in April.

Drop In – Coloring pages, games, puzzles, craft projects and other activities available when you are.

Movies – PG-rated movies. Check calendar for times.

Summer Library Program – Centered around a theme we offer programs for different age levels and ongoing reading program. Check the Kids tab for additional information.

Toddler Time

Tech Thursdays

Can we help you with downloading ebooks and eaudiobooks from WPLC Digital Library? Do you want to learn how to use RBDigital or Libby? Maybe you want to get started using Gale Courses or Ancestry Library Edition. Maybe you have questions about accessing your account in the Monarch Catalog and placing  saves on library books.

Drop in between 11 & 2 on Thursdays and we will help you out. Bring your device with you. Or make an appoint to work with one of our staff.
